  10. Thank you for your interest in Personal CASE. This diskette or download
  11. contains:

  13. -    the Personal CASE demo program file (PCASE.EXE)
  14.  
  15. -    the instruction file that you are viewing (README.TXT)
  16.  
  17. -    a brief intro to Personal CASE that can be printed on any text printer
  18.      (INTRO1.TXT, INTRO2.TXT)
  19.          
  20. -    a complete command and action summary that explains each Personal CASE
  21.      command (COMMAND1.TXT, COMMAND2.TXT, COMMAND3.TXT)

  23. -    a sample Personal CASE design (ACCTG.*)

  25. Personal CASE is a Microsoft Windows application, and must be started from
  26. the Windows MS-DOS Executive. You must have MS Windows installed on your
  27. system before you can use Personal CASE.

  29. To install Personal CASE, simply copy all of the files contained on the
  30. demo disk into a single directory on your hard disk. View or print the
  31. sections of the demo user guide with Windows Notepad or any other text
  32. editor. An introduction and step-by step tutorial is included in INTRO1.TXT
  33. and INTRO2.TXT. COMMAND1.TXT, COMMAND2.TXT and COMMAND3.TXT contain a full
  34. description of all of the Personal CASE commands and actions. The user guide
  35. is split up into separate files so that it can be viewed with Windows Notepad.

  37. The text files are excerpted from the actual Personal CASE user guide, a
  38. bound, illustrated, 150 page manual.

  40. To start Personal CASE, double-click on the name PCASE.EXE from the MS-DOS
  41. Executive. The demo is fully functional, except that it cannot save a design
  42. to disk and export graphics to other Windows applications. The program can
  43. also be started directly from the distribution diskette.
